Delivery & Returns
While we will do everything we can to ensure you receive your sharpened knives back within 1 to 3 business working days from receiving them, delivery times are at best, estimates and exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed and do not form part of our terms of service. You, as a buyer, exonerates We Sharpen 4U for any losses, inconvenience or damages related to delayed shipments.
The buyer is responsible for shipping the correct number of blades as purchased. If fewer blades are sent to We Sharpen 4U than ordered, we will not refund the costs for missing knives.
The buyer is responsible for informing We Sharpen 4U of their correct shipping address. We Sharpen 4U is not responsible for losses relating to lost deliveries if an incorrect shipping address is supplied. If the buyer would like to change the shipping address post shipping, we will try our best to assist the buyer in amending this, but this cannot be guaranteed. We Sharpen 4U is exonerated from any losses to do with incorrect shipping addresses.
We Sharpen 4U only operates in the United Kingdom, we do not serve anywhere else. As per courier conditions of service we cover all of the UK but unfortunately do not cover the Channel Islands, PO Boxes or BFPO locations.
Each shipment (each way) is covered up to £100 by Royal Mail. In the event of loss our courier will pay a maximum of £100. In the event of loss or damage the buyer exonerates We Sharpen 4U for losses in excess of £100 as per our terms and conditions.
You will find packaging instructions both on the website home page, individual product page and via email after successful ordering and payment, these form part of the terms of service with We Sharpen 4U. We Sharpen 4U is exonerated from any loss or damage due to missing or damaged blades in transit due to incorrect or inadequate packaging. The only safe way to ship blades to us is to follow our instructions correctly.
We Sharpen 4U and the buyer are bound by our couriers terms and conditions which are available at their website here: www.royalmail.co.uk
In the event of a missing shipment, We Sharpen 4U will contact the courier on your behalf to investigate, this can take betwen 7-28 days. Any compensation due may take up to 3 months to be paid by the courier.
At any point the blades are in transit with the courier, the blades are at the customer’s risk and are insured by the courier to the value of £250. Whilst the blades are in We Sharpen 4U’s possession they are at our risk and will be insured against loss and damage.
If the blades shipping packaging is damaged when you receive it back from sharpening, the buyer must inform both the the courier delivery driver and We Sharpen 4U on receipt by sending photographs of the damage to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The buyer shall inspect the blades within 24 hours of receipt. Where blades are damaged We Sharpen 4U can only assist if the buyer has notified We Sharpen 4U within 24 hours of receipt.
